Super fun Lifetime-influenced midwesterners on their first international tour. Keeping Spraynard’s fast & friendly pop punk shtick but with a faster, boozier harmony. Get pumped.

THE PRICEDUIFKES (Nijlen, Belgium)
If old Alkaline Trio & The Ergs! joined forces you’d get these spirited Belgian slackers. Another debut overseas tour; expect a boisterous set full of three minute, non-diluted cheer.

Durham city DIY pop featuring members of ONSIND & Fashanu. Layered melodies juxtaposed with progressive and relatable song topics that fans of Discount Horse Records will be familiar with. Absolutely incredible.

Wharf Chambers is run by a workers’ co-operative. This means that the business is owned and controlled by the people that you will meet when you visit- those working behind the bar, on the door, sound engineering, cleaning the toilets etc, as well as doing all the behind the scenes administrative work, accounting, maintenance etc. These are the people that make the decisions. As a co-operative we have equal control over our work; we all share responsibility for making decisions and we answer to ourselves- not to a manager and not to shareholders.

We decided to form a co-operative because we want a business model that isn’t driven solely by profit and where everyone gets a say.

We are guided by the seven co-operative principles, which are recognised internationally by the co-operative movement. These are:

1.       Membership should be open and voluntary;

2.       There should be equal control amongst members;

3.       Investment should not carry control, and should only receive a limited return in interest or dividends;

4.       Co-ops are autonomous, self-help organisations controlled by their members;

5.       There should be educational and social objectives, not just commercial ones;

6.       Co-ops should co-operate with each other;

7.       Concern for the community.

The co-op has a carefully structured relationship with the club, as set out in the club’s rules. The co-op is responsible for the day-to-day running of the club, but is answerable to the club members.
