A night of coldwave/weirdo-synth/industrial from Glasgow's Domestic Exile label.

THE MODERN INSTITUTE (Glasgow)
Ruthless and abstract machine music from this maniac duo, a dark and extremely sinister electronic body ritual that puts carnal pathology on a pedestal, beamed to us from a future of sexy industrial horror akin to Tetsuo: The Iron Man but with the sick grooves of Cabaret Voltaire, Throbbing Gristle and Pharmakon pushed to their limit, cryptic stage show remains unclear. Feat. members of Golden Teacher and Ultimate Thrush.

LEATHERETTE (Glasgow)
Cold and sleazy, morbidly homoerotic minimal/no wave workouts in the vein of Ike Yard, DAF and Factrix. Death-NRG for recently deceased queers and any other kind of weirdos who can swing it this low. Pulsing electronics with processed voice and clinical beats against a backdrop of amyl nitrate and greased latex.

SUE ZUKI (Glasgow)
Shadowy and sardonic minimal/darkwave from one twisted lady, delivering drearily dreamy sermons of brutal cynicism and confessional bile over robotic rhythms spanning graveyard disco to psychotic clattering dervishes, paranoia never sounded so funky!

MORAL HOLIDAY (Leeds)
Local oddball legend Phil Todd of Ashtray Navigations assuming the position of basement-freak electro dirger that manages to be as danceable as it is deranged, if obsessive/primitive electronics with ice-pick percussion + psycho vocals is your idea of a party in hell.
