CONTAINER –
Straddling noise and techno, Ren Schofield [originally from Providence, USA] pushes ramshackle rave music to its breaking point. Characterised by propulsive beats and liberal use of distortion, Container’s sonic meld has been equally welcomed at club nights, basement shows, electronic festivals, and rock gigs alike.
His 5 full lengths and 4 EP’s (for labels like Editions Mego offshoot Spectrum Spools, Alter, Morphine, and now Drone) have cemented Container as a distinctive and disorderly force in modern electronic music.

LADY NEPTUNE –
Originally formulated in London as a performing alter-ego for nascent singer-songwriter Moema Meade [As Ondas, Joey Fourr, Anarchy 99] Lady Neptune has been an ongoing work that has evolved from distorted guitar dirges, bass-heavy synth pop music into its current Hi NRG 4am experimental Gabber nadir. Informed by nu metal aesthetics, cheap ‘n’ nasty instrumentation and an unstoppable knack for hooks, she elevates these compositions to channels for new planes of ecstasy, a sugar rush from Hell.

SOCKETHEAD –
Transpennine artist Rich Harris’ Sockethead project sees him folding found internet media, live instrumentation, field recordings, as well as both analogue and digital technologies, into his source material, sculpting a loose, exploratory sound that draws as much from outsider folk and DIY noise as it does from Detroit techno and DJ Screw.
