GAUTE GRANLI // HORACIO POLLARD // FONDANT // XEADA
June 12 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm£4 – £8
Another Heinous Whining night of weirdo musical outings. This time it’s queasy guitar song-adjascent soundings from Norway and proudly ridiculous blown out beat noise from Berlin as well as two new local acts.
£8 / £4 low or unwaged
no one turned away for lack of funds course
please wear a mask at the gig thanks 🙂
World touring troubadour using Jandekian guitar and experimental electronics to fashion a hazy, skronky, left-field, blue exotica noir that’s toppled with confusion and discomfort. Somehow haphazardly built but lean and focused achieving the musical equivilant of heart burn threatneing to get a lot worse before it gets better.
Weirdo beat music you can definetely dance too but with the attitude of an absurd noise set. Pitter patter drums, harmonica honks and the gooeyest synths no money can buy.
New trio of Paige (Salvage, Datableed and Ludd Gang), Layla (Flemme) and Theo (Territorial Gobbing). Having spent a good while playing in various combinations of chaotically assembled bands for one off gigs they’re back. Cello and tape collage and clutter act as a bed for Paige’s poetry is the vague pitch though you can come see how it fits together. Dense, slow and seething.
New live project from Carmen Walker-Vazquez (Sable Radio) collaging music ideas drawn from drone, vaporwave, musique concrete and obscure 80s pop into strange smearing somethings
