Heinous Cardboard No.1: RRS, Carnivorous Plants, BAND, Rebecca L’Amour

October 14 @ 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm

£3 – £5

An evening of the finest song-strechers and tonal testers within the No Audience Underground. Bristolian adonises RRS and Carnivorous Plants cut loose along with local bar-flies of the scratchy sound tavern.

Doors at 8PM
£5 or £3 unwaged – no one turned away for lack of funds course!

COVID TESTING:

You must show a negative PCR or lateral flow test result on the door to gain entry to the event (within 48hrs of the event). Log test results online  to receive your certification via text or email and bring this with you to the night. There will be no exceptions.

RRS – The Cardboard Prince returns to lead to further assert his sovereignty over the no-audience underground kingdom. Suicide style heart palpatation electrodrum and synth grind keeps the beat while RRS sings on the big topics. LOVE. TUPPERWARE. FLUIDS. CARD!

Carnivorous Plants – Slow-mo shoegazed warm noisemaker here to show the local new age trinket shop how real zoning is done. Deep-fried guitar oscillating between waves of decay and shamelessly beautiful fingerpicking with any gaps in the box rammed with electronic blipp and tape gunk.

Rebecca L’amour – Rebecca is BACK! And this time in L’AMOUR FORM. Your favourite circa 2005(?) scene kid rearranges big fucking fashion, hyper-focused zone performances and effect-fried electronic pop manouveres yet again! Her past incarnations of harsh-noiz drag and industrial musicks never failed to simply dazzle and sure L’amour will do just the same

BAND – A suspiciously quartet looking trio spontaneously composing and combusting ballistic improvised dance-punk nope-wave. Drums drummed like a brick in a washing machine, bass synth funk hustle and strategic yapping plus the sometimes guitar strangulation sensation thrown in for good measure. Guttersnipe, Basic Switches, Territorial Gobbing supergroup!
