Nô Balur – Celebrating Black Queerness

Join us where it all started, Wharf Chambers, for the juiciest club night of the year to celebrate “Nô Balur” (meaning ‘Our Value’ in Bissau-Guinean creole), on Thursday 23rd June from 12 till late, in celebration of #pridemonth with a lineup curated by an all-Black femme / non-binary DJs of Angolan, Bissau-Guinean and Nigerian background, purr!
From afro-house to amapiano, kuduro to UKG, and much more, brought by South London-based Don’t Call Me Tako, Leeds up-and-coming star Bridget, and Lady G‘s debut on the decks as we celebrate the impact Black and Brown folx had and still have within the queer and transcommunities

50% of the proceeds will be donated towards the first edition of Portugal’s Black Pride to be held in Lisbon – please refer to our safer spaces policy before buying a ticket as this is an event created by a Black queer person, prioritising those of Black and other ethnic minority backgrounds.
