The Unit Ama

Catch a rare opportunity to observe the musical mutations of Northumberland’s The Unit Ama. Formed in 2001, their output and touring schedule is sporadic at best so it’s a genuine honour to host them in Leeds. When not stretching the limitations of the trio format to breaking point you’ll find the members of The Unit Ama performing in various other projects; The Long Lonesome Go, The Horse Loom and Archipelago, each giving you small window of insight into the unhinged sound the group of capable of conjuring. Expect raw folk vocalisation, dry abstract musical and lyrical wit and heavily improvised yet strangely controlled variants of what we formally understand to be rock music. If you’re unfamiliar check out their self-titled debut on Gringo Records.

The Bricks

DIY post punk grooves from York. Ft. members of Thick Syrup, Red Monkey, Mob Rules and Broken Arm

Heat Wrays

Members of Milk Crimes and Instant Bin converge for a new group exploring college rock variants. On a Superchunk, Van Pelt tip.

If possible please take a lateral flow test before attending. Thanks.
